About Sherri Lane
Sherri Lane is the Executive Director of Capital Access & Center Operations for the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS). SBS?s mission is to unlock economic potential and create economic security for all New Yorkers by connecting New Yorkers to good jobs, creating stronger businesses, and building thriving neighborhoods. Sherri oversees the City?s network of Business Solutions Centers which provide free services to entrepreneurs and business owners in all boroughs. She also oversees SBS?s Capital Access program which includes managing multiple funds that aim to reduce the financing barriers for business owners. Before joining SBS, Sherri was a management consultant and she began her career as a small business lender. She earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
