Chantel set out to purchase deodorant for Kam and discovered there was nothing on the market that she both trusted, and was “fresh” enough for him to be excited about putting on every day. With the lack of chemical-free kid friendly deodorants on the market, coupled with her experience at creating products herself, she created her own for him. Once Kam started wearing it, always wanting to help others, he had the idea of "Mom, you should be making this for everybody”! From there word-of-mouth spread; from his team, to their mothers, to friends to complete strangers! Play Pits was saving noses.
Kameron Powell, or more affectionately known as “Kam”, is an active kid that can find excitement anywhere. A young athlete, Kam has been playing sports since he was 4 years-old. He is captivated by motocross, hot-rods, dirt-bikes and pretty much anything with an engine. He loves swimming, reading bed-time stories, and teaching and playing with his younger brother. He even enjoyed learning chess so much at his barbershop, that he joined the chess club at church. As the only bi-lingual person in his home, he enjoys teaching his family Spanish.
